Ancient sequences is based on rhythmical patterns and the system of tetrachords from ancient Greek. The tetrachords have different chromatic variations on the so called 'movable' tones. The irregular rhythmical cells are ordered in a certain way to achieve an energetic result. Besides this, the heterophonic character also refers to music from ancient Greek.
