Piano trio (violin/viola - cello - piano)
'Lachrymae' is inspired on 'Booze droom', a poem by Frederik van Eeden (1860-1932). The piece consists of three shorter works:
Lachrymae I for viola and piano
Lachrymae II for piano trio
Lachrymae III for piano solo
'Lachrymae' was premiered and recorded by Trio Landini: Jenny Spanoghe (violin/viola), Geert de Bièvre (cello) and Paul Hermsen (piano).
